Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 17, 2026
FTW Notify ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by FTW Agency. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (iOS and Android), our website at ftwnotify.com, and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information — your email address and name when you create an account or purchase a subscription.
- Billing information — payment card details, billing address, and tax ID are collected and processed securely by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Stripe account connections — when you connect a Stripe account via OAuth, we receive an access token. We use this token exclusively to listen for events (payments, subscriptions, refunds, chargebacks, and payouts) and deliver notifications. We never initiate transactions, transfer funds, or modify any data in your Stripe accounts.
- Account labels — optional names you assign to connected Stripe accounts for easier identification.
- Support communications — any information you share when contacting us at support@ftwnotify.com.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information — device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers used to deliver push notifications.
- Push notification tokens — provided by Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) via Expo, used solely to deliver real-time alerts to your device.
- App usage data — general interaction data such as notification preferences, quiet hours settings, and sound selections. We do not track individual screen views or build behavioral profiles.
- Website analytics — we may collect anonymized analytics on our website (page views, referral source, country) to improve the Service.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your Stripe customers' personal information for our own purposes.
- We do not access, store, or process your customers' payment card details.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver real-time push notifications for Stripe events across your connected accounts.
- Process your subscription payments through Stripe.
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- Provide and maintain the Service, including syncing notification preferences and quiet hours across your devices.
- Send transactional emails (e.g., purchase confirmations, account changes).
- Respond to your support requests.
- Improve, monitor, and protect the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Stripe Data & How We Access It
FTW Notify connects to your Stripe accounts using Stripe OAuth (Connect). We only read your data — we never write to or modify your Stripe accounts. Specifically:
- We can only read event data — we cannot create charges, issue refunds, modify subscriptions, or transfer funds.
- We receive webhook events from Stripe (e.g., payment succeeded, invoice paid, charge refunded) and use them solely to trigger push notifications.
- Event data (such as amount, currency, customer email, and event type) is temporarily processed to format your notification and is stored only as part of your notification history within the app.
- You can disconnect any Stripe account at any time from within the app, which immediately revokes our access.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Your account data and notification history are stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS), which provides encryption at rest and in transit.
- Stripe OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to client-side code.
- All communication between the app, our servers, and third-party services uses TLS/HTTPS encryption.
- We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, audit logging, and regular dependency updates.
While we take every reasonable precaution to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate FTW Notify:
| Service | Purpose | Data Shared |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing & account connections | Email, billing info, OAuth tokens |
| Supabase | Database & authentication | Account data, notification history |
| Expo (EAS) | Push notification delivery | Device push tokens, notification content |
| Apple APNs | iOS push notifications | Device push token, notification payload |
| Firebase (FCM) | Android push notifications | Device push token, notification payload |
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
6. Data Retention
- We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or your subscription is current.
- Notification history is retained for up to 90 days, after which it is automatically purged.
- If you cancel your subscription and delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).
- Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
- Disconnect any linked Stripe account from within the app, immediately revoking our access.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@ftwnotify.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
FTW Notify is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States where our servers and service providers are located. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in compliance with applicable laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
